Italian electro and pop master Crookers has announced that he’ll be continuing his popular MiniMix series throughout the summer with a second volume of the series dropping today via his soundcloud page. Set to feature some of the biggest names in pop including Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle alongside his trademark selection of crunching electronica from the likes of Justin Martin, Eats Everything, Skream, Kingdom, Mumbai Science, and more it was just the thing we needed to get us in the mood for the weekend.

The series harks back to a time wherein Phra regularly delivered short mixes but stopped due to his new found love of a certain trilogy as he explains, “I used to do it years ago. I really wanted to make a monthly series with the most amazing club stuff around to shake the booty to. Then after the third one I stopped because I got too busy reading ‘Lord of the Rings.’ I hope this time it will be a longer series, but I just bought all the ‘Game of Thrones books.” Hopefully the HBO adaptations don’t interrupt this series…

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
