Café del Mar To Open In Sydney

It seems that the global influence of the White Isle on electronic music cannot be overstated at the moment with an ever increasing amount of Ibiza based institutions branching out with exciting new ventures across the world. Following on from news that Space would be landing in New York alongside Sankey’s long awaited Big Apple venture comes news that that Ibiza’s iconic Café del Mar is expected to open a new venue in Australia next month.

After several months of speculation it has now been confirmed that the new venue in Sydney will be opening mid November and will no doubt be generating a considerable amount of hype in the Aussie metropolis as city dwellers look to enjoy the chilled out Balearic vibes and warm sunset sets that have accompanied the Café del Mar over its illustrious 33 year old history in Ibiza.

Speaking on the move Down Under Café del Mar’s PR agency said: “Café del Mar Sydney will pay homage to its Spanish heritage whilst being created for Sydney by Sydney people. We are very much looking forward to telling everyone about it. The sun always sets in style at Café del Mar Sydney.”
