Burn Residency 2017 Competition Launches For Its 7th Year

Now in its seventh year and with an average of 5,000 applications each year, leading energy drink brand, Burn launch the biggest global DJ competition – Burn Residency 2017 – opening for entrants worldwide.

The competition welcomes all aspiring DJs from over the world with an aim to give an undiscovered talent the opportunity of a lifetime, a career jump-start that sees them on stage in a European city, as well as a 5-week Residency in Ibiza. The crowned winner will receive a €100,000 contract – a direct investment into their new career as an emerging signed DJ.

Each stage of the competition will be judged by a panel of industry experts and international DJs such as: Carl Cox, Pete Tong, John Digweed, Maceo Plex, Steve Lawler, Fatboy Slim, Luciano and Jamie Jones, with each of them investing their time into the competition and offering candidates tips and tricks on how to build a DJ career.

This competition will change the lives of entrants as they follow in the footsteps of previous winners including 2016 Burn Residency winner, Lollino, who has signed to Ask My Management (who also look after Loco Dice0 and has gone on to release a mix via Bedrock – John Digweed’s label.
