The Bug reveals new EP for Ninja Tune

Share

thebug.jpegHot on the heels of his Angels & Devils LP release last week, The Bug has announced a forthcoming EP for Ninja Tune and shared a new track featuring vocalist Liz Harris (a.k.a. Grouper).

The Bug’s first album since 2008, Angels & Devils has garnered widespread critical acclaim. The new Exit EP follows directly on from the album, utilising tunes from the LP’s original 160-track long list. Both ‘Void’ and ‘Function’, which featured on A&D, have been carried over to the new EP. In addition, there’s unheard material in the form of ‘Black Wasp’ ft. Liz Harris and ‘Blaow’ with Daddy Freddy.

You can stream ‘Black Wasp’ and check out the full tracklist below, plus don’t forget to read our review of Angels & Devils.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
