Ever since we heard Brodinski’s remix of fellow producer and friend Gesaffelstein’s ‘Viol‘ we knew that the talented Frenchman was firmly one to watch with his jagged synth lines, peculiar samples and a complete disregard for genre boundaries and he hasn’t disappointed as he and his Bromance imprint have gone from strength to strength.

After contributing as a producer to Kanye West’s hotly anticipated new album Yeezus, next up for Bromance and Brodinski is the release of his new mixtape ‘The Purple Ride’ which draws on the man from Lille’s hip hop influences amongst the many other genres he seamlessly incorporates into his eclectic sets.

To celebrate the upcoming release you can download two of the tracks that are set to feature on the mix compilation, the tracks being Brodinski’s remix of King L’sVal Venis‘ and some darker strained techno courtesy of Maelstrom and his track ‘Bricktown District’.

Both tracks can be downloaded below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
