After a lull in activity by their own prolific standards London based imprint Swamp 81 have revealed news of a new double 12” EP set to hit shelves from hard hitting techno maestro Boddika. Entitled the ‘Steam’ EP the new effort features four entirely original cuts and hits shelves on August 26th.

With label boss Loefah now running two imprints we can see why Swamp81 hasn’t been the most active of late but with the new release from UK heavyweight Boddika about to drop we can only hope that it is a statement of things to come from the label.

Check out Boddika’s ‘Heat’ and the and tracklisting from the new EP below

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
