Alfie Nelson wins a day in Studio with Max Chapman

Max Chapman 4

The old saying goes “if you don’t ask, you don’t get”, well a young chancer by the name of Alfie Nelson asked and he got, with a bit of social media help.

He recently sent Max Chapman this message on facebook “If i get 5k Likes, 2k Comments and 1k Shares. Will you do a collab with me?”    Max replied with “Let’s do this!” so Alfie set about the challenge, we also noticed that Max even shared the post for him on his personal account.

The whole challenge took Alfie only took 3 days to complete as he sent the message on Monday (see below) and finished on Wednesday! He will now join Max in the studio on Tuesday 20th September to work on the collaboration. Max has said “I’m going to let him lead the way. I’m just going to write it”.

You have to say Max Chapman, what a hero!  After this recent Beatport Number 1 success with ‘Body Jack’ he’s now gone a step further to cementing himself as one of our favourite producers of the moment.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
