Alan Fitzpatrick, Dense & Pika take on a Giant 303
In celebration of live creation, Onyx Ibiza planted a giant 303 synth device yesterday at one of London’s most exciting new festivals, Junction 2.
The device was set up in a tent near the main stage and will allow people to experience analogue music on a scale never before seen. The aim behind the concept is to get more people making music live and support the art of improvisation. The device will be free for anyone to play around with and we got Techno heavyweights Dense & Pika and Alan Fitzpatrick gave it a whirl after their set, which we Live Streamed through Facebook Live.

Onyx, a brand new techno night to land at the infamous Space Ibiza this season, is all about supporting the roots of techno by bringing attention to proper live performances. The night that will be bringing the darker side to Mondays at Space will be hosting some of the best live techno acts across the globe, including Surgeon, Blawan, Benjamin Damage, Answer Code Request and many others.
“I’ve never seen anything like it at a festival and it’s one of the reasons why we thought it would be such a great fit for Junction 2, Onyx will be showcasing some of the best live techno acts in the world this summer and we want people to appreciate the art of analogue music and it’s role in our culture. I’m glad we’ve found a festival who are looking to create authentic experiences for their fans as well. ” Luke Farrugia
