acidhouse.jpg

It’s been 25 years since the conception of acid house, considered by many the most influential youth culture phenomenon in the UK since punk and to celebrate the milestone Acid House Anthems have released a third installment of the popular series. Featuring tracks from legends of the scene such as Frankie Knuckles, Orbital, 808 State and a Guy called Gerald the CD aims to capture the essence of the era with a selection of classics, early influential tracks and Balearic beats. Fun for those who were around the first time or providing an education to a younger generation this is a most welcome 25th anniversary to the scene. Happy Birthday!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
