He has a tribe of fans built initially from his acting career, who is now enjoying his original passion.

2019 has been quite the ride for DJ/ Producer Roukin. His release Game Plan, a collaboration with Hobbs (UK) on Reptile Dysfunction rose to #5 on the Traxsource Nu Disco chart on. His debut EP ‘Walk With Me’ released on the Los Angeles label Understated Recordings and the follow up with Hobbs (UK) on Black Soul Music, with the EP ‘Best Of You’.

Roukin has an encyclopedic knowledge of House Music has been playing since 1994 when he first touched a Technics 1200 turntable in a garage in Southport, UK. He was hooked by the early sounds of warehouse parties brought home by his older brothers and weekly visits to Cream, Liverpool, Sankeys Manchester and many other UK clubs throughout the 90s. In the early 2000’s he played up and down the UK including his own party, Fluid at The Room in Hull.

Always evolving and pushing out of his comfort zone he curates a sound of punchy, groove-driven house music spanning Disco, Jackin House through to Tech House. His sets on 4 decks are packed full of his own self produced loops and accapellas creating a sound all of his own. This year he returned for a third time to one of his favourite clubs in the US, Flash in DC, hosting his own room under one of his parties, Voltage.
