The Arcadia Spectacular, the 50-tonne fire breathing spider at the heart of Glastonbury have announced the 2017 line-up, with artists including Noisia, Boys Noize, Goldie and Groove Armada.

Arcadia’s acclaimed Metamorphosis show will take place at midnight on Friday and Saturday, channelling ideas of physical and metaphysical evolution. Metamorphosis sees aliens flying from the sky, new creatures born from spellbinding cocoons, baby spiders crawling overhead and 6 million volts of lightning played like an otherworldly musical instrument.

On the last night of the 2016 festival, an estimated 25,000 people trudged up through the mud to see the Arcadia Spectacular grand finale. Accompanied buy the worlds greatest lighting and pyro show, the Stanton Warriors & Plumps DJs did battle on the legendary Spider. Credited as one of the best received sets and biggest crowds in Arcadia’s history, they dropped us the 75min mix from The Spider for our Mix of the Day Series, check it below!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
