DJ Harvey Set To End XOYO Residency

It’s been over a quarter of a century since DT favourite DJ Harvey first took up his first London residency – his weekly night ‘Moist’ at The Gardening Club – with the esteemed selector forging the fiercest of reputations for his work on the decks in that time.

Thus, when we heard that he’d be taking over XOYO for a four date run this August, well, we were more than a little excited. What would he play? Famous for his marathon six-hour genre-crossing sets, hype reached insane level here at Data Transmission HQ as we tried to speculate on what he’d treat us to on the coming Saturdays in Shoreditch.

Whilst our attempts to predict what he’d play proved less than useless, we’re pleased to report that Harvey more than exceeded our incredibly lofty expectations; absolutely destroying the dance floor each and every weekend for the last three weeks. But, all good things must come to an end and with our Bank Holiday celebrations about to begin in earnest, we’re already looking forward to his last hurrah under the XOYO banner this Saturday, August 27th.
