Ministry of Sound Launches HOME ROOTED Resident DJ Programme for 2026

Ministry of Sound has announced a new resident DJ programme for 2026, placing a fresh cohort of artists at the heart of the club’s sound in London and beyond. The programme launches on Saturday, 14th March with HOME ROOTED, a showcase event dedicated to the six residents who will carry the club’s flag throughout the year.

Residencies have always been the backbone of club culture. Ministry of Sound knows this better than most, having built its reputation on the likes of DJ Harvey, Tony Humphries and CJ Mackintosh over the years. Alongside those names, the legacies of Frankie Knuckles at The Warehouse, Larry Levan at Paradise Garage and Marcel Dettmann at Berghain have shown just how powerfully a consistent resident can shape the identity of a venue and the culture of a city. With HOME ROOTED, Ministry of Sound is putting that tradition back where it belongs.

Head of Talent Travis Derrick says: “Ministry of Sound has always been a place where new talent can grow into global artists. With HOME ROOTED, we’re celebrating the DJs who are part of the club’s DNA. Artists who have already built a connection with our dancefloor and who we believe are ready for the next stage. This residency is about backing those artists properly and giving them the platform to represent both the club in London and on a global level.”

The four London-based residents are Paisley Jensen, Basso, Omari and Daniella Font, all familiar faces at the club and well-established selectors within the capital’s underground scene. Chanel Carmichael and Siân Own complete the lineup, with both artists focused primarily on international appearances as part of the club’s global touring schedule.

The launch arrives as Ministry of Sound celebrates its 35th anniversary, with the residency programme sitting at the heart of those wider celebrations. Selected residents will join the Ministry of Sound 35 World Tour, taking the club’s sound to Miami, Ibiza, Mykonos, Bali and beyond.

Thirty-five years in, and the club is still putting its DJs first. Some things never change.

Since opening its doors in London in 1991, Ministry of Sound has grown into one of the most recognisable names in global electronic music. Built on a legendary sound system and a relentless commitment to quality, it has hosted some of the biggest names in dance music while continuing to champion new talent. Away from the club, the brand has expanded into a chart-topping record label with a cultural footprint that stretches across the world. More than three decades on, it remains one of the most important institutions in electronic music history.
