Brighton Music Conference Returns for 2025

Share

Brighton Music Conference (BMC) is back for its 12th edition, running from May 21st to 23rd, 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to be involved once again. As the UK’s leading electronic music conference, BMC brings together some of the biggest minds in the industry for three days of panels, workshops, networking, and unforgettable conversations about the future of dance music.

Priding itself on being one of the most welcoming and friendly music industry events to attend, BMC is a hub for the next generation of talent in electronic music with an affordable ticket price. “We love supporting the next generation of talent and helping them on their career journey.” Says BMC founder Billy Mauseth.

BMC is the place to kick-start your career, keep up with the latest industry trends and best practices, build and grow your network, make new connections, and immerse yourself in all things related to the electronic music scene.

“We always wanted to create an accessible event that everyone can enjoy and feel welcome. BMC is like a family, with a relaxed and friendly vibe where everyone can come together to learn, be inspired, network and enjoy amazing music and DJ sets. With first-hand experience of friends and colleagues struggling with their health and addiction issues, I felt it was really important to do more on this topic at BMC. Grateful for the support from Skiddle in making this happen this year.”

Billy Mauseth, BMC Director

This year, I’m returning to host the Social Media Panel, and trust me—this is one you don’t want to miss. We’re doing something completely new, with a very special guest joining me for a social media discussion unlike anything BMC has ever seen before. I can’t say much just yet, but this panel is going to break new ground, and I’m absolutely buzzing to debut it at Brighton Music Conference. Stay locked in for more details soon!

What’s New at BMC 2025?

This year, BMC is introducing a major focus on Health, Well-Being, and Lifestyle with a brand-new Health and Well-Being Theatre supported by Skiddle. Topics like Burnout, Mental Health, Neurodiversity, Touring as a Parent, and Tinnitus Awareness will take center stage, with yoga and healing sound baths also on offer.

Alongside that, there’s a stacked lineup of speakers and panels, including:

🔹 808 State, Arthur Baker, and Paul Oakenfold delivering keynotes.
🔹 The Frankie Knuckles Documentary Screening + Q&A.
🔹 DJ, Promoter, and Producer Q&As.
🔹 A&R, PR & Marketing, Sync, and How to Earn a Living From Music panels.
🔹 shesaid.so celebrates 10 years with a special industry breakfast.
🔹 The AFEM ‘Meet The Experts’ session, allowing delegates to book 1-on-1 mentoring.

BMC has always been a must-attend event for anyone serious about electronic music, from aspiring artists to seasoned professionals. Whether you’re looking to network, learn, or simply get inspired, this is the place to be.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
