Vektah drops ‘Every Time/Good To Me’ on Soulvent Records

Lawrence Bachell aka Vektah kicks off 2022 in true style with his latest 2-track slammer of a single ‘Every Time’ / ‘Good To Me’ via Soulvent Records. After the well-received self-release of his single ‘Fire In Your Eyes’ back in February 2021, Vektah has steadily built his profile over the course of last year with tracks like ‘Request’, ‘Escape’ and his remix of ‘Crave’ by Manchester-based producer Motiv. Now with another skilled release to add to his growing back catalogue, he lays down the gauntlet like only he can, with this brace of beefy bangers.

‘Every Time’ springs into life with a bubbly, arcade-style arpeggio and an off-beat feel. Meaty drums kick into gear coupled with a distant ragga vocal, and fizzy basswork ensures that we have yet another dance floor damager on our hands.

‘Good To Me’ opens with snappy drums and a spacey synth-scape before unleashing a powerful bassline that sees continued progression throughout. Pleasing bongo work serves to provide some contrast to the myriad of low-end elements, while the sassy vocal sample provides the icing on a decidedly gully cake!
