Introducing Gwaspari, a UK Drum & Bass DJ whose sets thrive on contrast, weaving Neurofunk weight, Dancefloor energy and Jump Up bounce into a single, relentless narrative. Rather than stringing tracks together, he builds journeys: tension coiled, released, and rebuilt, engineered for maximum impact on the floor.

That storytelling instinct, paired with a mixing style built on seamless transitions, has put him on line-ups alongside some serious names. He delivered a 90-minute back-to-back with DRIFTEЯ at Unit Nine in Milton Keynes in support of Hybrid Minds, and took his sound abroad for RIFT: Phase Two in Haarlem, joining an international bill at the Netherlands’ JC Flinty’s.

At the core of it all is a drive to push past the expected. Gwaspari’s sets pair technical precision with sharp selection, carrying crowds from opener to closer without losing the thread. Club night or international stage, the mission doesn’t change: tell a story, and leave them wanting the next one.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?

My Favourite track on the mix has to be the intro track, Redemption by Camo & Krooked and Mefjus. It’s extremely hard to double with and mix out of but I think I found some absolute beauty to blend it with!

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?

The special ingredient in this mix would have to be the edits on the tracks (Stripped Vocals, Shorter/Extended Versions) Most of them are edited to allow more creativity with blends/doubles and even transition between keys more seamlessly. If you don’t know about this, get to know!

I’m planning to have something released by the end of this year, expect some heavy dancefloor with a splice of Jump-up!

What have you got coming up? 

I’ve got a massive project which will be released by September time, it will be chapter two of my ASCENDANCY Mix series. Have spent all year putting it together!

When was the last time you actually raved?

Last time I raved was Gemfest back in June. Was an amazing weekend and I got to see some fantastic upcoming artists!

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?

Never give up on your dreams. Two years ago I got my first pair of decks and had no idea what I was doing, fast forward to now and I have got to support the likes of Hybrid Minds and even got to play a headline set in another country!
