Renegade Riddims: DRIFTEЯ

DRIFTEЯ has wasted no time making her presence felt. Since her first booking in summer 2025, she has already shared stages with Pendulum and Sigma, and delivered a 90-minute B2B alongside Gwaspari ahead of Hybrid Minds. For a newcomer, that is a serious early run.

Her sound sits at the intersection of heavy dancefloor, neurofunk and jump-up, with the kind of technical precision you would expect from someone who has spent years in the crowd before ever stepping behind the decks. Artists like Camo & Krooked, Mefjus and A.M.C have clearly left their mark, but DRIFTEЯ is building something that feels distinctly her own.

What sets her apart is the craft behind the selections. Her sets move between euphoric highs and heavy drops without losing the space that lets tracks land properly. She knows when to push and when to hold back, and that instinct is hard to teach.

With momentum building and a sound that balances power with emotion, DRIFTEЯ is shaping up to be one of the more exciting names to watch in the scene right now.

Today, DRIFTEЯ joins our Renegade Riddims series with a mix that means business. Locked and loaded with over 70 tracks built purely for the dancefloor, it pulls from a wide pool of talent including Circadian, Andromedik, Magnetude, Metrik, Kleu, Kanine, Camo & Krooked, Muzz, Sota, Delta Heavy, Sigma and plenty more besides. Get ready to lose your shit!

Q&A:

Sum up this mix in 10 words…

A DnB journey through euphoric heavy blends full of energy

What’s your personal favourite track on it?

This is really hard! I LOVE these two:

‘Lose Control’ – Camo & Krooked, Mefjus, Wilkinson, ILIRA

‘Shine a Light’ – Sequoia (Beautiful and so underrated!)

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?

It’s got to be playing a euphoric vocal track mixed with a heavier (cough neuro) track, this is my favourite.

What have you got coming up?

I’ve had a very busy 12 gigs in 12 months for my first year of playing out, now I’ve actually got some downtime which I will be using to start producing, which I am really excited about!

When was the last time you actually raved?

This was probably after supporting Hybrid Minds, I was able to jump onto the dancefloor and have a boogie! Other than that, I was at GemFest, which I highly recommend for all genres of music!

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?

Life can take you to crazy places. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself (nobody is perfect) and enjoy the ride.
