Leks and Deefa collab on ‘No Return / Workflow’ on Four Corners

Share

Prepare to venture into the depths of the musical underworld as Four Corners unveils its latest release, featuring the return of one of their beloved artists and a rising talent to watch closely: the notorious Brighton Badboy, Leks! This time, Leks teams up with their resident host, MC, and lyrical maestro, the extraordinary MC, Deefa, for a collaborative project, ‘No Return / Workflow’, that has been wreaking havoc on dance floors over the past year, kept tightly under wraps on dubplates.

So enamoured with these tracks, Four Corners decided it was only fitting to accompany them with a full-blown music video, filmed in their spiritual sanctuary, the Crypt nightclub in Hastings. Keep your eyes peeled for its release!

Leks’ production prowess has earned him acclaim on various esteemed labels, including Program, Hyperactivity, Yamatai, and, of course, Four Corners. With more exciting releases in the pipeline and support from some of the biggest names in the scene, they are thrilled to be working with Leks once again.

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of the late ’90s and early ’00s sounds, Leks infuses these two tracks with a nostalgic vibe that resonates deeply. Combine that with the dark and lethal sounds of Deefa, and you’ve got something truly extraordinary.

Although this marks their first official release as a duo, Leks and Deefa are no strangers to collaboration. Longtime friends and sparring partners, this release has been a long time coming, and if you’ve been keeping up with Deefa’s busy schedule, you’ll understand why.

Having amassed an impressive average of 100 gigs per year, Deefa has traversed Europe extensively, spreading his sound far and wide in countries such as Spain, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, and Croatia. He has also shared the stage with industry heavyweights of the Drum & Bass scene, including Andy C, Goldie, Roni Size, Hype, Fabio, Sub Focus, Netsky, Teebee, and Bailey.

To say these guys have earned their stripes would be a colossal understatement, and we’re confident you’ll hear the quality shine through in this release.

If you’re a fan of dark, rolling tech-infused beats, then this release is an absolute must-have. Strap in tightly because once you enter this realm, there’s no turning back!

Today we premiere ‘Workflow’ which you can check out below. The release dropped exclusively on Beatport and Spotify on 26th June and will be available everywhere else from Monday 10th July. You can get your hands on a copy here!
