Dedman joins Monk Audio with ‘Afraid / Lock & Load’
Dedman is a producer who’s slowly been carving a niche for himself in the minimal drum and bass scene since 2017. Since his initial release on Tesseract Recordings he has amassed a quality collection of releases on labels like Skankandbass, Lifestyle and is a regular contributor to the Lost Recordings catalogue.
Now, Dedman joins the ranks of the crew over at Monk Audio with his new release ‘Afraid / Lock & Load’. Another wicked offering from the quickly rising Drum & Bass producer and DJ from the South West of England.
‘Afraid’ and ‘Lock & Load’ represent Dedman’s first foray into Monk Audio territory and we will be making sure it is not his last. Title track ‘Afraid’ acts as a war horn signifying the start of rave battle and builds until the skirmish commences, a cluster of fierce drums and wobble basses commanding any room. B side ‘Lock & Load’’s haunting intro sends you down into the eerie dark underground with a twisting bass and steppy drums to guide the way.
The future is strong for Dedman with forthcoming releases on Cyberfunk, Dispatch and Lost Recordings as well as track support from artists such as LTJ Bukem, Fade Black, Rene La Vice, Charli Brix and Invadhertz.
Today we premiere ‘Lock & Load’ which you can check out below. The single drops on Monday 1st March (as if it’s flipping March on Monday!), a link to purchase will be added then, so make sure you check back!
