Crusty returns to Monk Audio with ‘Hells Kitchen’

Share

This month’s offering from Monk Audio is a two track single from a producer named Crusty, who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa. Crusty is no stranger to the label, having previously teamed up with fellow countryman Dopplershift on their collaboration ‘Ghandi’ which came out as part of the ‘666‘ EP earlier this year.

Crusty has performed at Science Frikshun, Addictshun, Sirensound, Rubricate, Reaction, Bass Culture, Churn, Crater Festival and is the co-founder and co-owner of Influence. He has performed alongside artists such as Rudeone, King Rat, Benson, Vito, Mr. Green, Mr. Mon, Adamski, Ambush, Menticide, DJ Shuga, Lucidia, Deeziak, Glock DNB, ALXR, Joe Ford and DLR.

Now, Crusty brings two hefty, weighty, club orientated tracks to the table. The first of these is ‘Hells Kitchen’, a particularly menacing number with a large serving of gritty bass sounds. Then there is the B side ‘Lost in the Imagery’ which combines a deep and sinister vocal with futuristic-sounding synths and bass.

Monk Audio is a label that is rising quickly. They have been busting it over the last couple of years and have had some serious talent rise up through their ranks. Past releases have come from the likes of ABLE, Dedman, Stuss, No Patterns, Erritate and a host of other names.

Today we premiere ‘Lost in the Imagery’ which you can check out below. The 2 tracker drops via Monk Audio on 7th June make sure you grab a copy from the purchase button beneath the Soundcloud player!
