Share

Black Marble Collective‘s ‘Ravetools 2’ compilation has been a long time coming! Originally it was supposed to come out Spring/Summer of 2020. Due to Covid-19, they have had to push back this release again and again. Now they can finally throw a legit record release party two years later and they feel the world is ready to embrace the sequel to our original ‘Ravetools’.

They have gathered tracks from all of our artists and friends to bring you twenty 90s rave-influenced tracks that have an updated heavyweight bass feel! These tracks range from Hardcore Jungle, Drum & Bass, 160BPM, Footwork, Ragga Jungle, and even a DAB of Club Music!

Here’s a little bit about the artwork as BMC present ‘Ravetools 2’, you know they had to come propa with the sick artworks! This is an art collaboration between BMC founder Mike Woodward, Animation Artist Anthony Romero, and Graffiti Artist Edson Vizcarra. Mike and Anthony worked together on the concept of a Gundam with DJ and Funktion 1 attributes. Edson updated the original ‘Ravetools’ logo adding a robotic futuristic touch to his original design. This whole piece really came together beautifully. The artwork has been made into a range of t-shirts so be sure to pick up a limited edition t-shirts while you can. (CLICK HERE)

Today we premiere Jah Bliddie’s contribution which comes in the form of ‘Run Choon’ which you can check out below. The album drops on Saturday 25th June, grab a copy from here!
