Black Marble Collective drop new mixtape by Just Bee

Black Marble Collective drop a furious new issue of their mixtape series and it’s definitely worth a listen! Said mix series is strictly dedicated to legendary up and coming womxn in the music industry. It was only a matter of time until Hong Kong native Just Bee stepped up to the decks.

With over five years involvement in the local scene as well as international gigs plus organizing events, hosting podcasts and co-running Unchained Asia, a fast-growing music label headquartered both in Shenzen and Hong Kong dedicated to scout and foster talent from Asia and beyond, Just Bee is the perfect specimen to deliver some certified sickness for Black Marble Collective.

Avid readers might remember that Just Bee did a Renegade Riddims mix for us earlier this year (check it out here). She has been working on her production skills the past year and just self-released her first EP via Bandcamp which spans from Drum & Bass, Halftime and 160bpm stuff. The EP is the result of her entering the rabbit hole of music production with a spoonful of soul-searching in summer of 2020.

The mix she’s done for Black Marble features similar vibes as she goes deeper into the rabbit hole unfurling the powerful depths of not only Drum & Bass and Halftime but also Footwork, bassy stuff as well as full-on rave bangers to make sure you’ll get your more than necessary dose of party feeling in these certainly uncertain times!
