Tobias – Paradise Garage

debut_tobias

Strictly Deep build on their early form with a brilliant EP featuring 2 original productions from Prism, Leeds resident Tobias in “Beat on the drum” & todays Debut Transmission “Paradise Garage”, complimented by remixes from the on fire Solardo boys & the much hyped Arun Verone.

Beat on The Drum is a perfect example of what style to expect from the whole EP. We’re met straight away with a sinister 303 bass riff, layered in with crunchy drums. The hypnotising vocal hook keeps everything rolling through-out the whole track & gives a perfect start to the EP, it’s backed up with remixes from Data Transmission 2016 ones to watch Solardo & Arun Verone.

Our Debut Transmission Paradise Garage closes out the EP out in style. Tobias keeps similar elements to the original ‘Beat on The Drum’, but uses them in a very different & interesting way. Almost glitching drum & percussion hits create an interesting flow. Brought together nicely by a very noticeable vocal hook glueing everything together, check it out below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
