Strath, an Australian artist, producer and DJ has just released his EP, ‘I Can’t Do This Without You‘.
Blending both hip-hop and electronic music, the artist creates a euphoric and story-driven dance debut project. Originally from Melbourne, Strath temporarily relocated to LA where he’s been producing for artists (Channel Tres, PawPaw Rod and more).
Strath’s diverse range of musical styles can be appreciated through its tracks, which encompass everything from hip hop, such as 100 (Everything To Me) and Can You Keep Being Around, to electronic tracks like Running Out Of Time and So Long.
The talented producer says about his EP:
“I made this EP in my studio apartment in the hills of Echo Park over a few months of last year. I didn’t fully then, but now I love that time of my life. I was swimming in the deep ocean with no fucking clue which way was the land. Then I stopped caring about the direction. and that’s when I really started to move. it’s funny and sweet to think of myself in my tiny apartment, when I was figuring myself out. I’ll always be figuring myself out, but I love to remember this little flavour of it, and it’s memorialised in these songs. this was the most fun creative experience of my life and it was genuinely a sad day when it was finished.”
‘I Can’t Do This Without You’ EP is out on 12th May on Godmode, the LA-based music company behind artists such as Channel Tres, SG Lewis and Yaeji.
