Hydrozoa drops its new release in the form of “Maleficent”. A project by Shaun Moses & Aardy, driven by their burning appetite to transcend boundaries, confidently unleashing this sure fire god-like hammer.

Aardy, founder & label head of Hydrozoa has been successfully running his imprint for almost a decade. A label boasting a soaring roster, with tracks consistently hitting the charts. His successful collaborations with Shaun Moses in the past have seen releases on labels like Octopus Recordings & Senso Sounds.

Shaun Moses is an extremely talented producer, with releases on Tronic, Gem Records, Sleaze & OFF Recordings to name a few. His distinctive approach to composing dance-floor burning tracks, make him one of the up-and-rising names among the new-age Indian producers.

Germany-based Drumcomplex is internationally respected for being a prolific producer. Boasting releases on prestigious outlets, ranging from Kneaded Pains to Terminal M, apart from running his own imprint Complexed.

Shaun Moses & Aardy “Aardy and I have both been producing together for more than 2 years now but have been best friends for even longer . Our collab releases are always very different from our solo ones due to the fact that we both have individual styles that amalgamate with each other . For this release we wanted to do something that we hadn’t done Before and hence decided to go with a breakbeat drum structure layered over a more hypnotic melody and it’s safe to say that the idea we had in mind was effectively translated into the track.”

Drumcomplex says “When i got the request from my friends from india to remix their track i accepted right away. The bassline inspired me so much that I brought it to the front in my mix and made it one of the main themes in my remix. It reminds me directly of bouncing groove like in the old Sharam Jay or Steve Angelo house tracks. for me it was clear that this must groove. totally happy to be on board and to have my debut on the label.”
