Premiere: DC Dubz – Hot Tub

Over the last five years, Banjax has led from the front of Bristol’s underground scene with an attention to detail that has seen a vast cross section of World class DJs grace the decks of some of the city’s best venues. With festival appearances, sell out shows with the mighty Toolroom Records and joint nights with other nationally recognised brands, 2017 will see Banjax taking things to the next level. Focusing on the very best Tech House has to offer, Banjax launch it’s new record label (Banjax Music) with two distinct dance floor bombs from DC Dubz.

London-based Dave Conway (DC Dubz) has already tasted success as part of the Dead Celebrities, gaining wide spread underground attention and support. DC Dubz is Dave’s new pseudonym for solo productions and has tracks signed to a number of labels already. When we heard the quality of the tracks Dave submitted, we instantly knew he was the right choice to spearhead our sound and we are very proud to have him join the Banjax family.

The Delivery is a groover. Low-slung bass licks drive the track forward underpinning Dave’s trademark percussion arrangements and energy. This one will appeal to the warm up jocks looking for great beats with soul, vitality and longevity. Hot Tub will get the old schoolers foaming at the mouth with a cheeky sample and rock solid production. Aimed at the peak hours, if this doesn’t get you dancing, you are probably dead!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
