Music is 4 Lovers continue their Global Lovers Series: South America

Music is 4 Lovers continue their Global Lovers compilation series this November. The third volume delivers a spice-filled palette of tunes from South America’s hottest up-and-coming house and techno producers.

Starting off the compilation, Ecuador’s Andre Salmon composes a heavy alien inspired tune alongside friend Pedro Ortiz; the two-slice up cuts of Joe Rogan. Andre Salmon was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador (small city located in the half of the world) where he is an icon in the ‘underground electronic music scene’ and one of the most important influence for the new generation in this exotic place. His childhood was hard, without a father and with his mother around the world. his grandma’ took care of him and taught him how to live; this semi-poor guy was doing music all the time with his friends as regular teenage, playing his old guitar and singing rebel mind thoughts against the system; with his punk attitude and weird philosophy about life of how to live in this raw city, he finds the electronic culture and starts involving more in the underground movement; after all that plus many weird things, he learns about the electronic music production and the art of the live performing and live mixing as Dj!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
