Henri - Fine Day Feat. Anita Briem (Applebottom Late Night Remix)

Following the success of her remix of Flight Facilities’ “Two Bodies”, Henri is set to release on 2nd December 2016 two infectious melodic house tracks, “Fine Day” and “I See Ice Cream”.

The first track on the EP is “Fine Day” – an elegant cover of Opus III’s early 90s cult classic. Henri’s version features Icelandic actress and singer Aníta Briem’s hypnotic, breathy vocals, which are layered over an interweaving synth arpeggio and repetitive piano chords. It will instantly put its listeners into a blissful state of trance.

Our Debut Transmission is our pal Applebottom’s remix – he is one of the UK’s most respected young DJ/producers and provides a late night remix of “Fine Day” on the EP, complimenting the original with its more sparse production and deeper synth hooks. With releases on MadTech, Eton Messy, and Black Butter Records under his belt, Applebottom has garnered support for both originals and remixes, from the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong, and a recent stint of DJing alongside Kidnap Kid has resulted in the release of “The Ride,” via Kidnap Kid’s label, Birds That Fly.
