Sofi Tukker remixes Henri’s ‘Last Dance’ feat Imogen Rose

Having been ensconced in the studio recording new material for 2019, leftfield electronic DJ / producer Henri has announced two quality remixes by Grammy Nominated New York-based duo Sofi Tukker and London’s deep house talent Kincaid for her new track “Last Dance” featuring Imogen Rose.

Musical duo Sofi Tukker is made up of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, the duo has just been nominated for a 2019 Grammy award for ‘Best Dance/Electronic Album’ for their album ‘Treehouse’.

Henri says: “Sofi Tukker and I have been talking about collaborating for a while now, since meeting at a New York club where I was DJing a few years ago. Tukker even came into the studio with me to work on one of the previous incarnations of ‘Last Dance’. Though the music we release is very different, we share a love of club culture and it’s been great to hear how their minimal, almost gothic interpretation has ended up having its own identity. Their staccato melody, driving drums & rolling bassline adds an ethereal feel to the vocals that takes the track to a completely different place.”.

We premiere the Sofi Tukker remix today, below.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
