Dillon Nathaniel & Saffron Stone join forces for SOLA EP

Share

Emerging talents Dillon Nathaniel & Saffron Stone join forces to carve out a rough and ready club-geared two-track EP on Sola – ‘Simple Minded’.

“What a buzz to write music with Dillon Nathaniel. We hit it off instantly bouncing stems and creating ideas combining both of our production styles, which was a perfect blend to create our Simple Minded 2 track EP.” – Saffron Stone

“Even though the pandemic has prevented us from formally meeting in person, a new friendship was formed as well as the birth of our EP! Simple Minded and Inside are a perfect blend of our styles. While remaining true to tech-house we also wanted to have a dark and dirty flavour to the songs.” – Dillon Nathaniel

Two of house music’s most talented newcomers land on Sola this October with a collaborative two-tracker, oozing the label’s signature rough-feeling heavy-bottomed tech blueprint. The first of two impressive cuts, ‘Simple Minded’, carries a pleasantly blatant rave-inspired feel, with heavy low-frequency elements and rolling grooves. Beefed up with edgy melodic injections, it’s a prime cut of dancefloor beef that will no doubt tear up dancefloors upon its arrival. Completing the release is our premiere, ‘Inside’ features more of Saffron’s hooky vocal cuts, laced with acid lines, driving drum work and sizzling percs that bounce off its weighty underflow and perpetual momentum.

A technical whizz in the studio and house music connoisseur, Dillon Nathaniel has been establishing his talent across the world. His thick grooves and hypnotic rhythm has even caught the attention of Solardo, Marc Kinchen, Chris Lake, Lee Foss, and many more whilst spilling on to the crossover circuit with impressive support from BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM.

Renowned for her high energy sets, Saffron Stone is firmly cementing her signature stamp on the scene with the determination and talent that has propelled her so far. Always busy writing music, this year’s releases have been full and fire on the likes of Solotoko, Armada SBJKT, Kitball & more. Gaining solid support from heavyweights such as Danny Howard, Fatboy Slim, Sonny Fodera, Mista Jam, Sam Divine and many more…

We premiere ‘Inside’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it here.
