Share

Sola producer Dillon Nathaniel joins Repopulate Mars’ sister label South Of Saturn with an upfront house release entitled ‘Poppin In Chicago EP’.

Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Dillon Nathaniel makes his South Of Saturn debut following previous appearances on Sola, Club Sweat, and Solotoko. With support from Solardo, MK, Idris Elba, Chris Lake and Mark Knight behind him and following a featured guest mix on Diplo’s BBC Radio 1 show, he now brings his whirling grooves and rhythmic style to Lee Foss’ label.

‘Poppin’ in Chicago’ opens with swaying basslines, shimmering snares and subtle keys alongside a fitting vocal that provides a nostalgic feel, all while keeping things fresh. Next, ‘Modern Romance’ bubbles with solid subs, percussive frills, bleeping synths and a luscious vocal sample until ‘One Love’ pulses with darker energy, splashing hats, thick kicks, stirring low-end and a rousing vox-break teases before the drop.

We premiere ‘One Love’ for you today, check it out below and grab it here.
