What a Week to be in Vegas!!! Your guide to EDC Vegas

If you don’t already know, it’s still not too late to make it to Las Vegas for Insomniac’s flagship Electric Daisy Carnival. Since 2011, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been hosting the largest electronic dance music festival in North America, and 2022 will be no different.

The main festival will take place over 3 days from Friday, May 20th – to Sunday, May 22nd but, things start to get interesting in Vegas (when are things not interesting in Vegas!!?) from Wednesday, May 18th, and the parties continue through Tuesday, May 24th, so What a Week to be in Vegas!!!

Wednesday, May 18th

Kicking off at 11 am, Dom Dolla goes back-to-back with a man tearing up the scene right now, John Summit. You can find these 2 at Marquee Dayclub from 11 am. Yes, that’s right, 11 am! Remember, it’s Vegas, and it’s EDC week. Later that night, catch Lowkey, Cloonee & guests at Marquee Nightclub, as well as Partiboi69 playing Discopussy.

Thursday, May 19th

Things really start to pick up on Thursday, with multiple events going on, starting at 2 am at Terrace Afterhours for ‘EDC Week Afterhours Thursday’ with Bart Skills, Aerial Grey & Brett Rubin.

At 11 am, you can catch Above and Beyond at TAO Beach, Porter Robinson at Wet Republic, & Timmy Trumpet & Deorro at Marquee Dayclub to name a few of the early parties.

Downtown Las Vegas from 9pm catch Boris Brejcha for ‘EDC Week Rave’. As the night continues along the main strip, we see Tiesto at Zouk, Elrow at XS, and Alesso at Hakkassan.

Friday, May 20th – Day 1

Grounds open at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway fully at 7pm but, the opening ceremony kicks off at 5pm. The lineup for Day 1 is insane (as expected) with the likes of ACRAZE, Alan Walker, Ben Bohmer (Live), Charlotte De Witte, Chris Lake, Dom Dolla, Eric Prydz, Fisher, Honey Dijon, Jauz, Madeon, and Timmy Trumpet to name a few. There really is an amazing curation of artists that will showcase different sounds from House to Tech House, to EDM, Future Rave/House, Trance, Techno and Electronica.

If this isn’t enough for you, the parties start on the strip again from the early AM with the likes of Kaskade, Deadmau5, and Martin Garrix headlining.

By Day 2, you should be starting to hit your festival stride. Fully recovered, hydrated, and ready for more action at the festival grounds, you can catch an array of talent being showcased from A-Trak, Alesso, Aly & Fila, Biscits, Chapter & Verse, CID, Cloonee, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Duck Sauce, Ferry Corsten, James Hype, Kaskdae & Deadmau5, Paul Van Dyke, Tiesto, Vintage Culture plus many more. Saturday is slammed and will be hard to choose where to be with such a lineup on offer but, we know YOU CAN DO IT!

As expected, on Saturday (and all other days) you can find the parties kicking off very early with Chris Lake, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Marshmello, and Pauly D headlining. The Vegas guide to GYM, TAN, LAUNDRY is my next article, the Pauly D special!!

Sunday, May 22nd – Day 3

Are you tired yet, or still buzzing from the sick electronic vibes? Ready to close out the festival weekend in style? Make sure you hydrate…don’t forget to hydrate, Vegas is HOT this time of year.

Sunday sees a closeout with a BANG when you consider Armin Van Buuren, ATB, Deborah De Luca, Dillon Francis, Gene Farris, Joel Corry, John Summit, Lee Foss, Martin Ikin, Mat Zo, Richie Hawtin, Sam Divine, Shiba San, Vintage Culture & James Hype B2B, Yolanda Be Cool, and Zedd will all be playing.
