Pola & Bryson: Top 5 instrument heavy tracks

Share

Pola & Bryson have a new EP out today (20th September) on Friction‘s Shogun Audio. ‘Pacific’ EP has been inspired by their time spent touring the roads of America, New Zealand, and Australia. The collection follows the celebrated release of ‘Lost In Thought’ last August. This new 4-track collection showcases the evolution of their stunning and progressive sound.

“A lot of big things have happened since our last original output in the form of Lost In Thought. We’ve taken a short break, toured North America, Australia and New Zealand and worked on music with some incredible individuals. This EP showcases our inspirations over the last 12 months, throughout the aforementioned tours and shows across the globe.” – Pola & Bryson

The ‘Pacific’ EP is a very instrumentally orientated piece of work. Featuring exotic melodies and a variety of unique instrumentation. The perfect example of how far they can push their forward thinking liquid sound. With this in mind, Pola & Bryson have chosen 5 tracks which encompass heavy use of strings, horns and pianos etc. I am totally in love with every one of these tracks, amazing selection!

S.P.Y – What The Future Holds ft. Ian Shaw

Gorgeous track from Carlos, combining so many musical elements into 1 track, and much like another classic of his, can only truly be appreciated in its entirety.

LSB – Walking Blues

This is a prime example of what LSB does best. The type of track that stops you in your path, all you can do is close your eyes in the middle of the dancefloor and just take it all in.

Spectrasoul – Burst (Calibre Remix)

The only thing on par with Calibre’s original productions is his remixes. The man can control your mind with nothing but a piano! He’s a true wizard!

High Contrast – Everything’s Different

Very few tunes can take control of a dancefloor full of people with a single violin lead in a track, High Contrast has always been a master of uplifting strings, this is a perfect example.

Calibre – Up In Smoke

Bringing 60’s lounge music to the 21st century, the instrumentation in this track just oozes retro vibes

S.P.Y – By Your Side

This list couldn’t be complete without this anthem! Nothing needs to be said that the music can’t tell you itself.
