Open Basement Party Presents Nadja Lind

The hosts and residents Anthony and Frazer used to promote events and DJ  between 2004-2008 under the ‘Rotate’ event name at some of London’s most illustrious venues such as The Cross , Turnmills, and Egg amongst others but had a few years out of the scene and aim to return with an extreme bang with our new breed of parties under the ‘Open’ guise.

It’s often said Londoner’s are guilty of wanting tomorrow today and to a large extent we think it’s an observation that’s largely true Thus forward thinking line-ups and unearthing tomorrows big stars isn’t appreciated anymore than in the capital and we think they’ve done just that at Open for their upcoming basement party.

Nadja Lind and Jon Gurd are two of electronica’s rising stars and firmly fixed figures in Germany vibrant underground scene. With releases on a host of esteemed labels from Soma to 8 Sided Dice and Octopuss Recordings it seems these are two names that you’ll be hearing a lot more of in 2013 as their productions get major support from some of house and techno’s biggest names such as Adam Beyer and John Digweed.

Good music and a basement. Sounds a winning formula to us, it’s good to have you guys back!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
