inmotion2.jpgBristol’s season of underground electronic music, In:Motion, returns this October a landmark fifth year.The first wave of acts for the Motion warehouse events have been announced, kicking off with a Hospital Records party featuring label boss London Elektricity, along with S.P.Y, Danny Byrd, Dillinja and DJ Hype. Following that, hosts such as Apex, Swamp81 and The Blast, will showcase the finest electronic artists around, including Will Saul, Caribou, Duke Dumont, Chunky, JME, Âme, Zed Bias and dBridge. As always the season will end with a huge double extravagansa on News Years Eve and New Years Day, however the line-ups for those are being kept strictly under wraps for now! For full listings and tickets, check out the In:Motion website, or watch the footage from last year’s Hospitality event:

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
