Insomniac is once again teaming up with RPM Worldwide, the team behind Pacha New York for EDC New York’s 3rd year and DT will be there for the experience. Located at Metlife stadium, home to the New York Jets and Giants, Electric Daisy Carnival New York is set to take place on Saturday, May 24th and Sunday May 25th, 2014.
Insomniac’s trademark production and a line-up providing thriving beats never fails to impress. The atmosphere will be experienced across 4 stages and this year will feature an iconic 100-foot animatronic Owl stage which was disclosed to an eager sold out crowd last year at EDC Vegas. New York will also be the first to see the new and improved Electric Daisy art installation, standing at a whopping 125 feet tall. A colossal fireworks display will light up over the New Jersey skyline.
Full-scale carnival rides and captivating experiences plus dozens of meandering aerosalants will raise the bar for Insomniac and be specifically fined tuned to New York. Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella says “Our goal is to create something that’s more than just a music festival – we want to transform Metlife Stadium into a piece of living art. Everything from the stage production to the theatrical costumes will be bigger and better. I am so inspired by the energy and passion of the fans and I want to give them an experience that matches their enthusiasm.
Insomniac certainly awes and excites having produced more than 250 festivals, concerts, and club nights for nearly 4 million attendees in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, and DT’s home, the UK throughout their 20-year history. Their premier annual Electric Daisy Carnival event in Las Vegas in the month of June attracted over 345,000 fans in three days last year and is the largest multi-day festival in North America.
This year’s immense lineup includes over 70 artists from a wide array of genres including House, Techno, Deep House, Tech House, Dubstep, Electro, Electronica, and more! Featuring artists such as Adam Beyer, Art Department, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Just Be, Loco Dice, Umek, Claude VonStroke, Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, Dusky, Francesca Lombardo, Green Velvet, Mano Le Tough, MK, Tale of Us, and many many more!
Data Transmission is excited to be in attendance this year to catch all the action. Stay tuned next month to find out how it turned out!
