Following months of speculation, Gatecrasher will finally have a permanent home in Ibiza, at the newly refurbished San Antonio super club, formerly known as Eden.
Winning the race against a who’s who of international clubbing super brands, entrepreneurs and entertainment companies, the 3000 capacity venue will now be known as Gatecrasher Ibiza and will present clubbers with a weekly programme of residencies, showcasing the biggest names in dance music. Having purchased Eden in April of last year, music lover, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and the man behind the successful turnaround of Panama in Amsterdam, Michael van de Kuit, created a world class clubbing space that sits alongside Ibizan venues such as Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege, Space and Ushuaia. The next step in Eden’s re-development was to bring on board a legendary dance music institution that had the power to lead the venue towards achieving its full potential.
Gatecrasher Ibiza will add to the continued revitalisation of San Antonio which boasts the islands best harbour and a plethora of hip new beach bars and restaurants. An area previously overlooked by the clubbing elite, Gatecrasher Ibiza will bring a touch of Las Vegas with a new roster of DJs, cutting edge music policy and a fresh generation of clubbers.
The space at Gatecrasher Ibiza has been completely transformed, creating one giant main room think Ibizian club with a twist of Las Vegas production that features state of the art lighting, Lasers, 3 dimensional led effects, LED screens as well as a DJ booth shrouded in LED, Megatron Nitrigion System and Pyro.
