You mentioned a compilation. What you can tell us about this? Are there any tracks sorted as of yet?
Maybe we went a little too far with this one. We mentioned that from our DJ Side this would be nice. As producers, we wanna come closer to think about an album and as DJs, we also wanna try to make a special compilation which shows our history, roots and also the future of DJs.
You were also residents at Neon Nights in Ibiza at Sankeys. How was that for you this summer?
It was perfect to say the least. We started on the label last year which gained attention and good press. It was a new thing with only Diynamic artists playing. This year with the success of the last it was even bigger and we have our own fans now so was great to see them also. This was a big step for us having a residency. Not only did we warm up but we played peak and ending sets too which was awesome. It was also nice to hang out in Ibiza, such a great place plus we also got to chill at one of Solomun’s BBQs and they’re amazing!
You have been on tour in America. How do the nights vary from European showcases, do you think their is a clear difference between them?
We only just got back at the start of the month as we did Ibiza closings too, so it was kind of split in to two parts. We went to Canada then onto America, then to Ibiza and onto South America. I have to say ,we really enjoyed the Culprit roof top party in LA, that was another level. But most of all the experience of a tour was just great to be involved in.
I saw you played Tomorrowworld in USA. That must have been mega! What were the highlights?
Tomorrowworld in Atlanta was big. The thing is, they did it in an area where even EDM is not really the thing there. The stage we were playing together with Jamie, Lee, Soul Clap and Subb-an was really the only one which was for our kind of electronic music. The whole production was big and the next one is already in the making we believe.
Are the crowds different to Europe?
You know, the crowds are different everywhere you play. There is a lot going on in the US now – a lot of the major DJS are playing again. There is such a history over there for house music, especially in the like of Chicago and New York. It’s just great to see how much energy the parties have.
Tell us about those City fox parties in New York, they’re quite legendary right?
It’s so funny you should mention that, as the guys who run the party have just walked into my home! They are here right now for a meeting with us. But yes for sure, they are legendary. Not just that but they have grown through getting a great name for themselves by putting on quality artists. They just get better and better each time.
You already have a huge 2014 schedule planned, where can we expect to see you?
We are planning those right now. We will be at some of the Culprit parties as well as in Mexico for BPM. South America will happen again for sure. We will spend most the first quarter in America leading up to WMC I think. The scene is great and we are so welcomed over there. Next summer we will be back in Ibiza as well.
Finally, tell us about your other releases you have scheduled?
We are just prepping our new music now and also some remixes too. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it to much right now but it will all be ready in the new year for you guys. But we’re very excited!
