Abandon Silence at The Kazimier

Abandon Silence will be at The Kazimier on Friday 19th April, it will be their penultimate party of the year with the annual Dimensions Launch Party. Last year the Dimensions Festival launch party went down as one of the best in Abandon Silence history, and we expect this time round to be no different.

The man who brought us one of the UK’s hottest tracks ‘Eva Mendes’, Mosca will be returning to headline Abandon Silence after a 12 month hiatus. He has become the host of one of BBC Radio One‘s best shows, his Thursday night INDWT residency. The two supports on the night will both be making their Abandon Silence, and indeed Liverpool, debuts. Manchester’s Ben Pearce will be entertaining us on the night. With his name at the forefront of the UK’s house resurgence, with tracks like ‘What I Might Do’ racking up 3 million plus views on youtube. His popularity is undeniable, and we cannot wait to see what lies in store as he plays the warm up slot – expect deep house grooves and big bass lines. Alongside them and closing off the night will be Leeds’ Last Magpie. His last release was on Hypercolour records alongside Maya Jane Coles, George Fitzgerald and headliner Mosca. Now Last Magpie finds himself on course to be at the top of the table alongside the two artists he joins at The Kazimier.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
