321 – Goose

There have only ever been a few bands that have been able to bridge the gap between rock and electronic music and we think that Belgian four-piece Goose are firmly one of them. 7 years after the release of their much hyped debut album on skint records the boys have developed a much harder electronic edge whilst retaining the energy that has seen their live show become such a coveted attraction around the continent.

The third album Control Control Control was recorded live in the studio by Paul Stacey and Dave Sardy  before being released on GOOSE’s own label Safari Records. The album got a glowing reception and after becoming a firm favorite  with many electronic music taste makers definitively announced them as a force within the scene.. After more than 400 concerts around the globe, their stage talent is well known. Only the truly great manage to sell out the Ancienne Belgique three nights running, as GOOSE did in February 2013 and with that we were delighted to acquire their talents for this weeks podcast as things get seriously acid during their mix. Belgium!   What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?  Last show in Paris at La Gaité Lyrique was Truly fantastic. It was a while since we played in the capital. When all those people queued up at the entrance it felt really good and made us all vibed up for the show.    What have you got coming up?  We are putting together a new live set specially for the festivals. We are adding new tracks of our latest album Control Control Control and we are remixing other songs just to perform live.    And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
