313 – Just Be

As the sun sets on beloved tech house duo Layo & Bushwacka! Matthew Benjamin’s Just Be project is quickly heating up with tracks and remixes for the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Tronic and also Get Physical who have just released the Latin-flavored percussive workout “After the Storm.”

He’s got a heavy Ibiza schedule this year playing the Sankeys Opening on 24th May and Space opening on 26th May & gigs with Carl Cox at Space and John Digweed at Pacha. He joins the Data Transmission Podcast with this stunning mix to get us all ready for the summer!

What’s your personal favourite track on it? The Pan Pot Remix – DOPE!  What’s the special ingredient in this mix? I tried to recreate exactly the vibe I am feeling at the moment – dynamic, funky, energetic, yet subtle.    What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?  I think maybe Kater Holzig in Berlin last month – BOSS!   What have you got coming up?  A lot going on in Ibiza this summer gig wise starting off with Sankeys Opening on 24th May and Space opening on 26th May, gigs with Carl Cox at Space and John Digweed at Pacha, plus lots more to be announced, and a couple of special surprises too 😉   I have a lot of new tracks on Crosstown Rebels, Maison Det’re,  Intec and Mood music – all four vibes totally different. The Crosstown release is out on 10th June and is called ‘Don’t Make Me Wait For You’ And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
