25th Dour Festival



In 2013, the Dour Festival will be celebrating its 25th anniversary from July 18th to 21st, so you can see why for its silver anniversary they have put together this massive line-up. The campsite will open its gates a day earlier on Wednesday, July 17th at 4pm, for visitors holding a 4-day pass that includes camping.

The jewel in Warp’s impressive array of artists, Flying Lotus is back this year on the Dour stages, bringing an intense set with him. With electronica inspired by icy fjords and an ingenious trip-hop edge to boot Trentemøller will be there, this icon of the electronica scene will be bringing his organic style to the Plaine de la Machine à Feu. In terms of dance music, we’re happy to have secured the services of the Germans Booka Shade, always ready to stir up a frenzy on the dancefloor with their disco/funky techno. In the region of French electro there will be the classy Gesaffelstein, known around the world for his breathtaking live performances to send dance fans into a trance. Elsewhere Joris Delacroix the big hope for the future of French electro and as so you can expect a captivating live performance. Also do you remember Tnght? Who brought the genre of trap music to Dour last year, well now the baton has been passed on to UZ‘s. This prodigy, who has been vouched for by Diplo, Flosstradamus, JWLS, and Toddla-T who has been causing havoc on Soundcloud, has also been tearing up dancefloors around the globe with Cashmere Cat and his minimalist electro with shades of R&B. Alongside these act will be Jets with a perfect mix of the electro-funk spirit of Jimmy Edgar synths and the syncopated rhythms of Machinedrum, will be the vehicle for your ascent. Then taking you on to a dream land will be Nathan Fake, who weaves together some powerful tracks from break beats and space-age samples. Get your tickets for this immense  festival now…
