Junction 2 confirms dates for 2020

One of our favourite UK Festivals, Junction 2 is to return to Boston Manor Park in 2020. Once again for another extended showcase of the best in underground dance music. The 2020 edition takes place on the 5th and 6th June.

House and Techno’s most renowned selectors will once more fill the park’s mix of bucolic summer fields and stark industrial structures with music delivered to obsessively high standards.

Jeff Gray says: “For next year’s Junction 2 we can confirm that five stages will become six when a new area will open. This will not only create another unrivalled sound experience, it will also give dancers a wholly different experience of this beautiful piece of London. 2020 will see one totally reconceptualised area as one of the existing structures will be revamped to provide festivalgoers with even better access, audio and atmosphere. Furthermore, the remaining stages across the park will also be renovated to ensure their sound and production design continue to give the most immersive club experiences possible in the festival environment. All of these changes mean that fans will get to explore the park in enhanced and expanded ways, but capacity will not increase. For us, it’s always about quality over quantity and we feel this is reflected in our 2020 instalment more than ever.”

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
