Roland announces audio recording with Go:Mixer

At $99, Roland‘s Go:Mixer is a new piece of kit for recording audio with your smartphones.

Once connected to an iOS or Android device, the Go:Mixer takes the power from your mobile device, making it ideal for tasks such as recording audio while shooting film. Measuring 3.75×3.75×1.1 inches, it features inputs for mics, media players and instruments, and a stereo output.

Roland has also introduced the Rubix line of high-definition audio interfaces for iOS, Mac & Windows computers. The line consists of three units – the Rubix 22, 24 and 44, each designed with low-noise mic pres and support for audio resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz. Rubix offers a perfect balance of high-fidelity sound, solid build quality, compact size, affordable price, and crucial features for today’s musicians and producers.  Its near universal USB support means it works seamlessly with Mac and PC computers, and even supports iPads, for the ultimate in portable music production and performance.
