Sy Sez joins the Spotlight Mix with SunceBeat Festival Special

Sy Sez is an international DJ, Producer, popular Radio host with Mi-Soul & also founder of Raising Records.

Originally making his name in London in the mid-noughties as a resident DJ for the legendary Soul Heaven & Ministry of Sound, Sy has gone on to play worldwide at some of the most established clubs & festivals, at times lining up with some of the biggest names in House music! Sy has a burning passion for the music he plays & charismatic energy & style when he’s on the decks.

Sy Sez is also known for his productions, most notably his release on Soul Heaven/Defected Records ‘WITH YOU’ feat. Cleveland Jones, which had huge recognition and a Number 1 spot on Traxsource. In his early production years, Sy formed the AphroDisiax brand and has more recent projects MindState, Truu Colours & Says Who?

This journey led Sy to launch his own label in 2021 Raising Records, which in its first year made its mark with some impressive releases including legendary House vocalists Robert Owens & Michelle Weeks. Also, numerous number ones on Traxsource, UK & SA radio plays on Kiss FM, BBC Radio & YFM and support from legendary DJ’s such as Louie Vega. Raising Records prides itself on the positive messages in its music & is definitely a label to watch for the future.

SunceBeat is back this summer with its first wave line-up now released for its 13^th edition. It is the longest-running festival at the beautiful coastal hideaway at The Garden Tisno from 21st-28th July.

Nestled in a stunning pine-shaded Adriatic hideaway along the coastline, the idyllic festival has cultivated a global audience. Drawn to its daytime blissed-out beats and sparkling hedonism through the evening and night, all the way through to dawn at Barbarella’s – a unique open-air club that has no comparison.

The festival also features intimate beach-side dancing, boat parties on the beatific Adriatic, the mesmeric Olive Grove and headline artists on the Garden Stage. It’s a vibrant mix of music, energy and pure escapism under the sun and stars, a week-long odyssey with friends and old and new set in a truly stunning location.
