Spotlight Mix: One Bit

Share

Avid Data Transmission fans will know we’ve been championing One Bit since 2014, the two-piece electronic act who between them play more instruments than you can shake a stick at and have made big moves with their first few releases.

The electronic duo are back at it again with their new summer smash – ‘Luv U So’, but this time from the helm of their new label “Something To Dance To (S2D2)”. Continuing with their passion for reworking old classics, the vocal is based around a sample from Sandra Richardson’s 1971 track ‘I feel a song (In My Heart)’ famously brought to mainstream attention by legendary French duo Cassius.

With ‘Luv U So’ out now on all platforms, listen here. Today, they join us on the Spotlight Mix for the first time. Listen to it below, and download it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
