Loéca joins the Spotlight Mix Series

Share

Loéca’s love of music began at a very young age, heavily influenced by her parent’s love of house music she began her DJ career in Ireland at the age of 14-and so her infatuation with the dance music scene began.

After playing Amnesia at just 17 years old Loéca soon started to make moves in the Ibiza scene as a versatile selector and went on to complete 10 seasons in Ibiza as a resident at Defected at Eden and Mambo to name a few. Her uplifting sets have seen her travel all over the world;  DJing at Pacha,The Warehouse Project and Defected Dubai have been stand-out moments in her career as well as supporting the likes of Claptone, Hannah Wants, Sonny Fodera, MK and Roger Sanchez.

Loéca’s intricate knowledge of dance music history shines through in her being named a “true selector” by Sister Bliss. Loéca has a genuine passion for not just house music but all genres of music and likes to demonstrate this through her musical selections-with the dance floor always at the forefront of her mind, as demonstrated in her regular Defected Broadcasting House sets.

With a heavy summer ‘23 season in Ibiza under her belt at Cafe Mambo and Hī as well as the international festival circuit including Creamfields North, Boardmasters and Hideout Croatia, Loéca looks to complete 2023 with a special Elrow London set as well as spending much more time in the studio and is excited to release some new music very soon.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
