Black Legend joins the Spotlight Mix Series

Italian producer and DJ Black Legend is the creator of the UK’s singles chart No.1, ‘You See The Trouble With Me’. He’s been awarded multi-gold and platinum discs since he started his career in the late 80s, building an impressive discography and signing productions and remixes to the world’s top independent labels.

Some of his popular releases include ‘Mr DJ’ (Defected) and ‘Open Your Eyes’ as Love Legend with Alex Gaudino (Positiva), to name a few. Black Legend is usually performing at some the best clubs and festivals around the world, and he also hosts the Legendary Radio Show every Saturday at 2 pm CET time on Cafè Mambo Radio.

Fool’s Paradise unleashes a hot collaboration between Italy’s Black Legend, London songbird, Powerdress, and UK producer Ridney on the snappy NuDisco outing titled, ‘Over You’. Centred around Powerdress’ empowering vocal about getting over heartbreak, ‘Over You’ comes with an effervescent 80s-tinged soundtrack teased with catchy retro style synth hooks and complemented by gritty room-shaking power bass. Also on the package, Richard Earnshaw ramps up the 80’s funky vibes, delivering an uplifting discofied party groove, wrapped in his signature soulful production magic.

Known for her signature sound of trademark 80s synths and sultry vocals – PowerDress’ sound is simultaneously both nostalgic and truly modern. Her tracks have received radio love from Annie Mac, DJ Target, DJ Cameo, and Pete Tong, among many. She has collaborated with the likes of DJ Q, Roisto, FVHM, Arthur Baker, and Dax On Sax, and has co-written some of the biggest tracks of the last decade including Lana Del Rey’s double platinum ‘National Anthem’, among others.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
