Darius Syrossian – Danzer (Hot Creations)

“It’s all House and Techno, and I am not interested in fads!” said Darius Syrossian. As an artist he
really does hold to that. Never venturing off into the unknown but sticking to what he’s passionate
about and what he can confidently deliver.

Darius Syrossian has proven to be an icon for a steady amount of years and has built up his
reputation and commitment to what he really loves. After a successful summer season in Ibiza at
Amnesia with his Do Not Sleep residency Darius has shown consistency at what an amazing producer
he is with his latest EP release on Hot Creations.

Performing alongside some of our industry greats including Cassy, Martin Buttrich and Alan
Fitzpatrick, Darius has made an impression on the White Isle. Now his recent production,
‘Danzer’ is a smasher.

Darius has produced an extraordinary EP, that offers a unique sound, a divine and creative marvel across the different versions. ‘Danzer’ takes me back to the late ‘90s where house music had a sound of its own. The bass lines are simple, the vocals insatiable and the feet keep moving. The three versions of ‘Danzer’ are diverse enough to offer a little bit for everyone’s musical taste.

The original version is by far my favourite even though I am more tuned into techno which you would think would steer me towards the ‘Techno Tool’. Danzer has taken hold of my senses.

Adesse Versions have had some of their own successes and have gone on to release of respected labels including Razor N Tape and Delusions Of Grandeur. On his version he flips the track on its head, taking it on an altogether different route, layering extra percussive pads and whopping synths.

I love this EP and what it represents – like time traveling back to the 90’s. Darius Syrossian has carved a niche into the Global dance music scene, with releases like this it’s looking more like a chasm.

Score: 8/10
