Q/A:
Sum up this mix in 10 words…
Floor filling, Deep, dark and dangerous. One for the energy kru.
What’s your personal favourite track on it?
My personal favourite is actually a really hard one to answer, I’d probably have to go with ‘The Druids’ by Chase & Status as it’s a tune I’ve rinsed and repeated for years I actually have it on wax and I’m so grateful for it!
What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
Energy vibes, heavy drops and infinite riddims.
Tell us about your next EP?
I have my first ever EP coming out at the end of summer called ‘Floor Riddims’ – every banger was made on the floor. I’ll be self-realising it on my Soundcloud so keep your eyes peeled, for now, you can go check out some of my dubplates.
What have you got coming up?
I’ve got a few gigs in Sheffield for the Tramlines weekend on Friday 22nd July playing a 4X4 set at Dryad works for Phazed events &\and a jungle set at Church supporting Eazy D and Junglist Alliance at Bass Bar. Then I’ve got Boomtown TBA which I’m super super excited about and lots more TBA.
When was the last time you actually raved?
It was on the 10th of June I supported Oneman at Plot22 and it was amazing! He did a 2-hour set and played loads of old school garage, dubstep, dubplates and jungle. Tunes you don’t really hear anymore so I was loving it, super euphoric.
And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Just big up to anyone who has supported my musical journey, listened to my mixes and tunes and a huge thank you to everyone who’s booked me! Big up Off Me Nut Records and Wubclub every time!
